CODE OF ETHICS

The code of ethics describes the standards to which students, competitors as well as instructors must aspire. Those standards are an inherent part of karate as practiced within the Association de karaté JKA du Québec.

Dojo Kun (Dojo’s precepts)

The dojo kun states the basic philosophy of karate, according to its founder, Master Funakoshi Gichin. The dojo kun, often recited at the end of training session, is intended to frame the practice within an ethical context.
